In his address, the Mufti underscored the importance of mutual understanding, respect, and shared values as the bedrock of lasting marriages. He particularly directed his message to the youth, urging them to exercise wisdom and patience when choosing marriage partners.

He warned that many of the challenges facing families today arise from neglecting these key considerations, often leading to conflict and eventual breakdown. By prioritizing these core principles, couples can cultivate families that not only thrive personally but also serve as positive, unifying forces within the broader Muslim society.

His call resonated widely, reminding participants that nurturing stable families contributes not only to personal wellbeing but also to the unity and progress of the wider Muslim community.

The event further reinforced IUIU’s role not only as an academic institution but also as a center for moral and spiritual guidance within Ugandan Muslim society.
